A long, long time ago...

No, wait.  A really, really, really long, long time ago…

Screw it.  Think prehistoric.

A race of people started believing that they could talk to the gods by taking sticks, beating rhythmically on calfskins and using their newly-found voices to make harmonious noises.  Years later, people stuck six strings over a wooden box and found that when they plucked the strings, that which was then termed "music" could be played.  Evolution and revolution being what they are, these instruments became what are known as drums, voice, and guitar, respectively.

Thousands of years of history…

… and all you need to do to see it completely sullied is to go to one of my shows.
